Home Information Packs

Home Information Packs - also known as HIPs - became mandatory in December 2007 for any home put on the market irrespective of its size. HIPs bring together important information, such as a sale statement local searches and evidence of title at the beginning of the sale process. HIPs also include an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) and that's where we fit in.

The Energy Agents service a wide client base with EPCs, including key providers of Home Information Packs.

Why do we need HIPs?

Home Information Packs contain vital information required by buyers and sellers, upfront at the start of the buying/selling process. HIPs are designed to make transactions quicker and sales less likely to fall through in the stages between offer and exchanging contracts.

Home Information Packs give a clear unbiased view of the property being sold and purchased.
